Jones Wedding

I love Summer!!!

The smell of the fresh air. The sun beaming down on your face. And the many trips to the beach as possible!!

This summer was no exception. Warm sunny weather, the warmth of the sun hitting your face, and a beautiful wedding next to the beach.

Mike and Karie were wed on a beautiful sunny day in July.

Perfect for a beach Wedding.

But it wasn’t your typical beach wedding.

There were aspects of Doctor Who place threw out the wedding. For any Doctor Who fans out there, you would of loved this!!

Mike and Karie, thank you for having me photograph your wedding. I truly enjoyed it!!

Howard Wedding

I love weddings!! There is just something magical about watching two people come together while friends and family watch them become one.

Not only that, but seeing all the the details and the hard work of the wedding come together as well.

My favorite wedding theme is vintage. Hands down. It’s timeless, classic and the decor is breath taking.

And like all other weddings, this one was special to me.

I had the honor of photographing (and being a bridesmaid) at one of my best friend’s wedding.

Now realistically, I wouldn’t recommend any one to do both. Cause it’s a lot a work. But it was something I didn’t mind doing.

I got to enjoy the ceremony while standing next to my best friend and the brides sister. I got hear the most beautiful words that were said. And to see two people say I do to a love that’s lasting forever.

I couldn’t be more excited for the Howard family. And I am very humbled that I was a part of your wedding.

Anthony’s Sr Photo Shoot

This was my last shoot of 2016. And the weather for that day was not going as planed. It was rainy at one point. And then it was trying to snow at another point. But, as I was leaving Everett and heading to Seattle, the weather was clearing up. There were no rain or snow cloud in site. Feeling the warmth of the sun was so wonderful considering I was freezing before I left. But, the sun was just an illusion. Even though it was sunny, it was every bit of freezing and chilly do to the winds.

But that didn’t stop us from doing the shoot.

I remember the first the time I photographed Anthony, he was just a kid. Shorter then me. And full of energy.

Now, still full of energy but he towers over me!!

(Boy did I feel short!!)

We spent the day over in Kerry Park. And then headed over down to Pike Place Market.

Watched some fish being tossed and walking the streets of Seattle.

Anthony, I hope you enjoy you last year of high school and that you’ll have a blast enjoying the college life.

Thank you for letting me photograph you again!!

Crystal & Sunie’s Sr Photo Shoot

I remember being in middle school and high school with my closest friends. The things we did has kids were nothing compared to what teenagers do now a days. I remember we had teen night at a local elementary school every Thursday. We went to the skate deck every Friday night. And skated until we were tired. And bought glow sticks and fake flowers that costed us a dollar or two.

But what I mostly remember are the sleep overs and the staying up talking until morning light. I have so many memories from that point in my life. Even one of us in the back seat of my mom’s station wagon. Hollering at boys that were passing by.

As we got older, we went different ways as adults. We still kept in touch, but not like when we were younger.

We got busy with life.

But have always been there for one another.

And when I did this photo shoot. It brought back so many memories, that I didn’t want the day to end.

I’ve know Crystal since I was middle school/high school.

Now your probably asking “Valerie, how is that possible when she is graduating high school now?”

Well ,I’ve been best friends with her older sister since the first day I moved to Lake Stevens.

Watching Crystal and her best friend Sunie brought back so many memories of how her sister and I

use to be.

Care free and nothing to worry about.

All I have to say is, Crystal and Sunie enjoy life. Enjoy the little things you guys do.

I know you ladies will be friends for a life time.
